Cleaning kick

The temperatures are falling here, it is still in the 80s & 90s during the day, but at night it is in the mid- to low-60s so we have the windows open. These temps (and the fact that we still have boxes that haven't been unpacked or moved from there original location) make me want to clean! Yesterday I cleaned all 4.5 bathrooms, including our master bath that needed HELP!, completed washing and folded ALL the laundry (the kids' drawers are almost empty - it was LOTS of loads), and cleaned our master bedroom (home to many of those boxes). It was very fulfilling and I'm trying to get that same motivation today.

I figure when we put a house on the market it is very clean and I would like to have that same level of cleanliness most of the time! Wish me luck!

Exotic Creatures

Well, living in the panhandle of Texas I knew it would be a desert-ish climate, but I didn't expect all the creatures that come with it. We had the snake about a week ago, and now the scorpions have visited. This is #4 that we have counted. 2 in the basement, 1 in the entryway and this guy was in our master bathtub (no idea how he got in there, but he was vacuumed up when I was cleaning the bathroom yesterday). We plan to spray this weekend to keep all these lovely critters out of our house...
